Draupnir Property Ventures is a small Oregon company. We buy a few homes and small rental buildings in Washington and Clackamas counties to keep and look after for many years, with professional property management. We don't buy to resell. The goal is a few good properties, held well.
We're most interested in owners who'd value a flexible sale, where part of the price is paid over time on a note we sign, intended to be secured by a recorded deed of trust. It can work well for both sides when it's set up carefully and reviewed by everyone's advisors.

I'm Andrew Caranto, the person behind Draupnir Property Ventures. I started the company to buy a small number of Oregon homes and own them responsibly for the long term. When you reach out, you'll deal with me directly, from the first conversation to the closing table, and I'll put everything in writing so you and your advisors can review it at your own pace.
How we do business
We'd rather be judged on our paperwork than on promises. Every proposal comes to you in writing and in plain English. Every purchase goes through an Oregon real estate attorney on our side and a licensed Oregon title and escrow company. If Draupnir signs a note to you, it is intended to be secured by a recorded deed of trust on the property. We'll always tell you if we're not the right fit, and we'll encourage you to have your own attorney and tax professional check every line.
Why "Draupnir"
In the old Norse stories, Draupnir is the gold ring of Odin. Every ninth night, eight new rings of equal weight fall from it, so the one becomes many, slowly and steadily.
We like what that stands for. Not quick wins, but patience. Not one side winning, but value shared fairly. When a sale is set up well, it can keep serving the seller and the home for years after closing. The knotwork on the ring is a reminder of the other half: things that are bound together well hold.
